Sales Tax
Applica Consumer Products, Inc. is required by law to collect sales tax in the states in which we have office locations. They are as follows; Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin. Any applicable tax on your order is automatically calculated at checkout time.

Security
Safety - Applica Consumer Products, Inc. uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure your safety. It encrypts your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the internet.

Credit Card Liability- Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Cookies - The Applica Consumer Products, Inc. web site uses "Cookie" technology to collect "Shopping Cart" product information. This information is only stored during the actual shopping session. Applica Consumer Products, Inc. stores all personal information in a secure database. Applica Consumer Products, Inc. also uses temporary Cookies to store "session" information while you are shopping online. This information enables you to go back and forth between web pages without losing the information you have already entered. This simple convenience means you only have to enter information once, and it can be used on multiple pages, such as adding items to your shopping basket. This temporary information is always removed from memory as soon as you leave our Web site.

Your personal information is completely confidential. To process an order, Applica Consumer Products, Inc. uses the required information needed to complete the transaction and ship the product.

We reserve the right to change any part of this policy at any time. At that time, an updated policy will replace the information you are viewing now. Notification of changes will appear in our "What's New" section, giving you the chance to opt out if you so desire.

Shipping
Most shipments will be delivered to our customers living in the continental US within seven days or less and to our customers in Alaska and Hawaii within 14 days or less upon receipt of order.

Please note that, unfortunately, we cannot ship to Post Office (PO) boxes at this time.

Orders outside the U.S. - Applica Consumer Products, Inc. currently ships to all of the United States except U.S. territories. We do not ship internationally at this time.

Returns
You can return any Belson, Black & Decker household products, Windmere, LitterMaid or Jerdon product for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase if you are not completely satisfied. All items must be returned in their original condition, with the original packaging, manuals and accessories.

Cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged in delivery or shipped in error.

Warranties
Applica Consumer Products, Inc. warrants our products against defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship for a one year period after the original date of consumer purchase or receipt as a gift. This warranty does not include damage to the product resulting from accident or misuse. If the product should become defective within the warranty period, we will repair it or elect to replace it free of charge. This warranty gives you specific legal rights which vary from state to state or province to province.
